Make your lunchtime plans for ISOJ 2019

As you prepare for your time at ISOJ, we want to help make your time here in Austin as enjoyable and as easy as possible. Your ISOJ registration will cover the cost of breakfast, coffee, and snacks both days of the conference, as well as food and beverages at our Thursday and Friday night receptions.

The ISOJ registration fee doesn’t cover the cost of our buffet lunches, which are held in the Tejas Dining Room at the AT&T Conference Center.

These lunches, which cost $35 each, cater to a variety of dietary needs and are a great place to interact with conference speakers and students. The AT&T Center is a short walk from the Blanton Museum of Art, where ISOJ takes place. You can purchase lunch tickets for Friday here and for Saturday here. (Reminder: Your registration fee for ISOJ does not include these lunch tickets).

Another option for lunch is our lunch workshops, which come with a free boxed lunch.

Here are the lunch workshop options:

FRIDAY

Google Tools for Journalists Workshops, offered by Google News Initiative

SATURDAY

Facebook Journalism Project Workshop: Instagram Story School for Editors

If you choose not to purchase a buffet lunch ticket and are not registered for one of the lunch workshops, you can grab lunch at a nearby cafe/restaurant. We’ve compiled a list of places to choose from:
